Terms and Conditions: Etherayan Astro-Space Quiz 2026
1. Introduction
The Etherayan Astro-Space Quiz Competition 2026 is organized by Etherayan Astronomy and Space Services, based in Bavdhan, Pune. By participating, you agree to abide by these terms.
2. Eligibility
Open to All: The competition is open to all citizens of India.
Age: Participants under 18 should ensure they have parent/guardian consent to participate.
Exclusions: Employees of Etherayan Astronomy and Space Services and their immediate family members are not eligible.
3. Quiz Format & Rules
Mode: The quiz is strictly online and available in English.
Duration: This is a timed quiz. Participants have 15 minutes (900 seconds) to answer 10 questions.
Single Attempt: Each participant is permitted only one attempt using a registered mobile number or email ID.
No Pausing: Once the quiz starts (by clicking "Play Quiz"), it cannot be paused or stopped.
4. Winner Selection
Criteria: Winners will be determined based on the "Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Time".(lucky draw in case of tie.)
Decision: The decisions made by the organizers regarding the results and leaderboard will be final and binding.
5. Prizes & Incentives
Pool: Prizes in the form of Cash or Services (e.g., Stargazing Camps or Workshops) are worth a total of ₹3,000/-.
Verification: Winners may be required to provide valid identification before the disbursement of prizes.
6. Fair Play & Conduct
No Malpractice: Use of unfair means, including multiple accounts or automated bots, will lead to immediate disqualification.
Compliance: In accordance with the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Rules, 2026, this quiz is a skill-based educational activity and does not involve monetary stakes for entry.
7. Privacy & Data
By registering, participants consent to the use of their provided contact information (email/phone) for communication regarding the quiz results and future astronomy events by Etherayan Astronomy and Space Services.
8. Jurisdiction
Any legal disputes arising from this competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
